Les Mills Combat Challenge Week 5!!!

Posted by on Mar 17, 2013 in Featured, Fitness

5 weeks done!! It makes me sad that I only have 4 weeks left, but I plan on making the most of it. Tomorrow starts very strict eating and I’m going to amp up my extra cardio by adding running 2-3 days a week.
For those of you who don’t know me that well, I have a love/hate relationship with running. I’ve always seen great results when I add even short distance running into my workout schedule, but it’s so tough for me! Usually around the fist half mile my lungs start to feel like they’re going to explode. Fun! But it will of course be worth it!! :-)
This week I have been feeling amazing! My energ levels are high, and Im finding I feel stronger and more energized on my long workout days. Ill take it! A lot of people ask me how I do two workouts a day, and honestly it seems like the more I do, the more energy I get. Keep in mind, one workout is a shorter cardio session so I’m not overdoing it.
This week introduced a new workout: combat 60 live! It’s definitely one of ,y new favorites, and taught with a live crowd. This workout presented new challenges like 35 uppercuts on each arm and lunge kicks that are surprisingly fun!
I’m planning on doing measurements and pics again in 2 weeks, then again 2 weeks later once I’ve finished the program. I’m already trying to plan on what program to do next…..Les Mills Pump? Asylum? Or maybe Brazil Butt Lift to get ready for summer :)
is anyone else out there wanting to start a new program? Now IS the time! Don’t put it off…summer is closer than you think so stop putting it off! If anyone wants to talk about at-home programs, let me know. I’ve done a few! :) I can honestly tell you, even though Im not at my goal fitness level, I’m feeling better than ever and the feeling of accomplishment I get from committing myself to improving my fitness makes the hours of sweating and dieting worth it! No, it’s not easy, but it’s most definitely worth it!
