Les Mills Combat Challenge – Week 6

That’s right, it’s that time again! Week 6 is done on my 9 week Combat challenge. The next few weeks will bring back the HIIT (high intensity interval training)workouts in place of the upper body blowout and lower body lean out strength training workouts. I’m going to miss them, but I do love the challenge of the very intense HIITs.
With only a few weeks left, I find myself getting motivated to kick it up a notch and really push myself. I feel like I’ve been working hard and have committed myself to clean eating and working out every day, but to get more results, I need to take it to the next level. What does that mean? It means every workout I give 1,000% and it means completing the hardest version of each exercise. In order to finish strong, ill also have to make sure my eating stays clean and lean!
Now that I’m nearing the end of my challenge, I’m considering which program to do next. I recently ordered Beachbody’s Asylum which is a 30 day sports training challenge for Insanity grads. I’ll be in Italy for 2 weeks in May so I may just do extra workouts with my trainer and start a new at-home program in June when we’re back. I highly recommend you all consider starting a workout program if you aren’t already in one….summer is so close and there’s no reason to put it off! I don’t only encourage you because I want you to look good at the beach, but for your health! You’ll be amazed at your increased energy and strength! I know it doesn’t sound fun, but if you stick with it, you’ll be addicted to it because of how it makes you feel!
